happy hourly comics day 2021!

9 am: the first three panels are a fight between aang from avatar and the blue spirit! in panel 4 they run directly into a speech bubble that is momo waking bug up for pancakes and coffee

after reading this one morgie said, "oh my god you were watching avatar in your sleep? im so sorry for interrupting!"

10 am: ok! 9 am done and posted! and then bug notices that it's 9:59am and says eek it's 10 am already!

this is my first time participating in hourly comic day; hours are shorter than i realized lol

11 am: bug thinks of all the times he's thought he won't need coffee today and, an hour later, had a terrible migrane. instead of getting coffee he dons a clown outfit, saying, well maybe i WON'T need coffee today!

executive dysfunction manifests itself in frustrating ways

temtem daily reward was underwhelming today lol

spent the past hour watching this

2 pm: bug is following momo around while they try to do household chores. momo asks bug what he's doing and bug says he wants to help! momo says bug's just in their way and tells him not to feel bad for not helping

*hovers annoyingly*

3pm-4pm: bug takes a nap and wakes up feeling awful, then perks up as soon as he realizes he's just dehydrated. 5pm: why does my head hurt? checklist: coffee, water, food, and sleep are all checked off. last ditch effort, painkillers? please kick in please kick in...

starting to fall behind... hopefully these help lol

6pm: bug is bouncing off the walls, literally, while momo is trying to cook. they note that the pain meds worked, huh? and bug says, and the coffee!

7pm: i log into animal crossing. i do one lap around my island. save and quit. god i love this game

though i did celebrate claude's birthday today cuz my system's a couple months behind atm :o)!

8pm: bug is at his laptop looking out the darkened window. i miss going outside, but it's so cold and snowy... and i miss restaurants and working and coffee shops and visiting family... don't think about it or you'll cry don't think about it or you'll cry! you have it pretty good after all you're healthy and can afford food...

it was REALLY hard to get a good picture of this one sorry if it's hard to read :')

9pm: bug pops up next to his cat laying on a pillow. hi, bea, nice pillow you're laying on there! would be a shame if it were to... LEVITATE! and with the last word, he lifts the pillow up with the cat on it

she did not enjoy this game NEARLY as much as i did

10am the next day: bug is clunked out in bed, and suddenly jolts up, yelling ack i fell asleep!

yesterday was my first time participating in hourly comics day and it was SO fun!! >:3c i enjoyed it so much and can't wait to draw more comics, and get better at drawing comics, and draw more comics, and get better at drawing comics!!!
